I also live in my dad's garage, but if I have the means I need to get out. We won't have a car for me in December because of money. How will I get groceries? Online, maybe though. Still, I'd like to find a college/conservatory but upset I started violin late and haven't practiced enough yet. It's very competitive, like if you want to be in a symphony orchestra. I like Baroque style, too, though, and Romantic-Contemporary period music. I don't know who specializes in Romantic-Contemporary period music, though. It almost seems like the music scene is over, maybe before things could even start then.

"Mother's basement" was a joke. The point is many of these guys online are losers who haven't done anything with their lives and aren't going anywhere. That's why they criticize good people like you who are trying to improve their lives.
You still have time to figure out what you want to do. I know a guy in his 40's who just got his teaching degree.
I just don't see you waiting on tables. It's a hectic job and I sure as hell know I wouldn't want to do it.
From what I know of you college sounds best.
