How come Jann Arden never reached international fame like Adele did?

Back in Jann Arden's day, being a big woman in the music industry was frowned upon, but now it's being embraced, Jann has some outstanding hits with her mesmerising voice such as "
Good Mother
", "
Will You Remember Me
", "
I Would Die For You
", "
Insensitive
", among others etc.
It's such a shame too, because Jann is just as talented as Adele is, if not more.

Kudos to you for remembering Jann Arden. I have most of her albums and didn't even realize she is, as you say, "a big woman." Nor do I care because I focus on the big voice.
