For some reason I always imagine Bruce Wayne like the George Clooney type of guy. Not the way George Clooney played him, but the looks of Clooney. Not to tall, not too short, fit, darker features. Hammer is too tall and too feminine in a way.

Clooney had the best look for Batman, but he had an awful script. But Batman has been turned into a rather dark character, and I'm not sure that either Clooney or Hammer would be able to convey that darkness.
Clooney's trademark is genial affability. I don't think I've ever seen him do anything else and don't know if he can. It would be interesting to find out.
Hammer was surprisingly appealing as Ilya in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., but that's the only role I have seen him in to date, so I don't know what sort of range he has as an actor yet. But I suppose I should give him a chance before I decide he can't do it. I made the mistake of thinking Tom Cruise couldn't play anything other than the young man learning not to be a
just because he played the role so well and had been typecast in it for so long. I don't want to make the same mistake with other actors, so I'm willing to give Hammer a chance to show what he can do.
I'm also willing to give him a chance to develop his craft. Sean Connery was a horrible actor in his early Bond days, but over the years, he got to where he wasn't bad at all. Not the greatest to be sure, but more than equal to the less demanding roles. Hammer in
The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
was as good as Sean Connery finally got to be, and if Connery could improve as much as he did, there's no reason that Hammer couldn't turn out to be very good. And that's all assuming that he's no better now than the roles he has gotten, which is just an assumption. He could already have loads of talent that's just waiting for the right role for it to be revealed. Until I've seen more of his work, I can't say for sure what sort of actor he will turn out to be.
Strip away the phony tinsel of Hollywood and you find the real tinsel underneath.

Reboot because the latest Batman is finished, and the character is the only one making money for DC that they absolutely can't wait.
He's a great choice but if he doesn't get his own movie, the Justice League film would be mocked by Marvel all over.
Funny how he would be the second Social Network alumni to play a superheroand a major one too at that. -

Then if DC isn't making money in the movie industry anymore why don't they chuck the Justice League film? I mean they're not gonna make anymore money with batman unless they reboot or any other superheroes except Man of Steel will do well

I think Armie Hammer is a good actor, I've seen him in The Social Network and I really like how he stands his ground next to Depp in The Lone Ranger (and that's just from the trailers). Him as Batman would be cool, but I'd rather see him as Aquaman of whom I had Charlie Hunnam in mind at first but I think he'd make a great Flash. I'd say Richard Armitage for Bruce Wayne/Batman but he might be considered too old I'm afraid Chris Pine would suit Green Lantern and I'd like Jaimie Alexander for Wonder Woman. Besides Batman the only role left is that of Martian Manhunter At first I'd thought of Idris Elba but I would like him a lot as John Stewart and he has no reason to be in JLA. Otherwise Benedict Cumberbatch but I think he's to big of a star to play Martian.. Actually no clue who should play him. As of now I'd still say Elba.
And even if I say so myself I think this is a pretty impressive and talented cast
Superman/Cavill
Batman/Armitage
Wonder Woman/Alexander
Green Lantern/Pine
Flash/Hunnam5b4
Aquaman/Hammer
Manhunter/Elba
Neither the definition of them cents it better shut. -

This guy? BATMAN?
Armie Hammer is a taller, younger version of Tom Cruise. I mean just look at that smile as if he's not showing enough of his teeth
oh, and Tom Cruise is a better actor.
and The Lone Ranger is one of the worst films in the summer of 2013.
so NO. -

ashbe_thx I'm sorry but your post annoys meyou haven't seen TDKR, but you're able to comment on it and state that it's heavily CGI??
If the recent bats trilogy is 'heavy' on CGI, then you must have been completely disgusted with Marvels Avengers, Man of Steel and The Hobbit, to name a few. Sheesh.
Oh & I think Armie Hammer would be a great Bruce Wayne/Batman.
