Think we know why Mr. ArchersGoonGirl left!
Seriously though, Im sorry your boy isn't in successful movies-the fairy tale bombed, Lone Ranger is one of the top five flops of all time, predictions that The Man From UNCLE (with Armie's terrible Russian accent!) will also bomb
You made your point, harpy, so please go haunt someone else's thread ok?

Why are are you getting so hysterical? Are you really so emotionally unstable that you have to have a hissy fit on this board?
I don't care about Hammer's career. It's you that cares about it. You need to get in touch with reality and get over your obsession with this guy.

Very true. Another example of cronieism and nepotism. This dullard would never have gigs if not for his family connections, now we will have him crammed down our throats every other film for the next umpteen years. These generic lumps like him and the newjewcrew types like Seth Rogan, Jessie Eisenturd and Jonah Hell are given so many roles because of who they know, went to church with or grew up with. And Hellywierd wonders why ticket sales have been downward for the last decade or so.

I don't think he's stealing or buying roles. He's just flavour of the month like Kitsch or Worthington or that meathead in the new Terminator. These guys are great in one thing and then Hollywood tries to make them happen or jumps on the bandwagon. The problem comes when jumping on the bandwagon means shoving them in stuff they're not ready for or don't suit.5b4
Personally I think Hammer is a great actor. But he or his agent or producers are trying to make him an action/blockbuster star - maybe because he's big and handsome? Only he's terrible at it. Theres nothing macho about him. He's too pretty to effectively pull off that kind of thing. And he's best at being funny and smart and fast talking - as he was in Social Network. He's a romantic comedy or even just a straight romance guy, and if he doesn't accept that fast he's going to end up playing second fiddle to Steven Seagal in a DTV nightmare. That's the reality.
Instead of just waiting for their turn to speak.- Marla

^This. Hammer isn't terrible or great at acting, he's ok just constantly mis-cast. He certainly isn't buying roles, that's an egregious accusation. And lol at the guy who said he works for a studio. That was rich.
