Do you think she would be as popular if she never had her lips done?

Honest question. I don't remember her being as popular until she changed her lips and whole look. It seems like some younger girls almost worship her now. I look at her before and after pictures and she looks like a completely different person.
On a side note, do you guys remember that really old episode when Kendal and Kylie were in their early teens and Kylie had a talk with Khloe about how Kendal go2000t more attention because of her looks? And Khloe was sympathizing with her because she knew what it was like having always been compared to her sisters looks. I remember Kylie being pretty depressed about it. -

No, not as popular. She started gaining popularity around when she was 16/17 for her "edgy" style & blue ombre hair. Then, her fame rose due to the big ass lips & her nasty relationship with Tyga.
I doubt she would have started a Lip Kit line without the commotion over her lip injections. That definitely boosted her "starmeter". She's a whole different person now. I'm in the minority that thought she was fine before; a fresh-faced teenager having fun being a kid. Now, she looks like she's in her late 20s/early 30s. She's beginning to look like a caricature of herself. That & her relationship with Tyga made her less appealing to me.
Yes, she does come off as sad. In a recent interview, she said this: I dont want to be Kylie Jenner. Its become a job more than who I am. I dont even want to be that person anymore. (From Complex magazine)
I'm very curious to see how she'll be in the next 3 years. Whether she'd be able to have longevity in the business like Kim, or fade out like a flash in the pan. -

Because she got such a positive response (I guess meaning more attention) when she changed her looks and especially her lips I'm worried for her about becoming addicted to plastic surgery. She is so young and starting so young. I am not against plastic surgery in moderation btw but the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan have built their empire on physical looks. And now they are all trying to keep up with it! I thought Kim was gorgeous before but now her face has a bland plastic look to it now.
I can't imagine the intense pressure they all feel in keeping their looks and bodies. We've seen with Rob how depressed he became when he no longer fit the Kardashian mold.
I hadn't heard that quote from Complex magazine, that is interesting. -

Yes, I agree. I think they didn't even look bad before. Kim did not need to change her face so many times. Now, she looks like a wax figure. It's a bit scary.
Kylie was cute before. I think she was okay when she first got the lip injections (although she was pretty young at just 17), and then she went overboard on changing her whole look.
I also thought her body was great, but now her breasts look cartoonishly large and her hips too. I also don't like how she & Khloe say their large asses are due to squats or, as Kylie promoted, butt/breast enhancing cream. Kylie even said she gained 15 pounds, but who just gains weight in their ass & boobs? I remember her saying she never works out & in a Snapchat video with Kourtney, Kylie totally gave up after working out for like 1 minute. So how is her stomach so flat? I know she's young, but there's no way to maintain that figure without working out. I don't like how they lie about how they obtain their looks. If they're getting surgery at least be honest.
I remember Kylie saying she wanted to venture into acting. I was interested in seeing how that would have turned out. She's very animated in her Snaps. She seems lazy as hell though.
