Yes, Gaga really shone and outclassed pretty much everything else that had gone before it. Nice end to a mess of a show.
Minelli looked genuinely in awe of Gaga, as Gaga was of her.

I think Gaga can get a little sappy with the "everyone is beautiful/never anything wrong with anyone" stuff, but she's really a very nice woman, which is simply refreshing to see.
