What an extraordinary performance in PREDESTINATION. I just saw it last night and find I am haunted by her performance in particular. For her beautiful, transformative utterly believable performance able to make me care deeply about the plight and5b4 especially suffering of her character admist the trappings of the genre namely the fast-paced, mind-bending intricate time-travel, actioned mystery/thriller with existental philosophy. No mean feat.
Ethan Hawke summarised it best; I didnt know who she was at all but I knew the films success or failure really rested in her hands, he says.
Sarahs performance is one of the most incredible Ive ever been a part of. Its one thing to do a moving portrait of a transgender person, but to do it in a genre film is really an accomplishment. I really want people to see the film to experience what an incredible performance this is. Its unlike anything Ive seen before.

Another world class incredible Aussie actress destined for the biggest roles. Next up just finished ABCTV min series version of the highly acclaimed novel 'The Secret River' by Kate Grenville and net week starts to shoot Neil Armfield's 'Holding the Man'. When will the best USA directors snap her up? Surely after they see 'Predestination' .What does everyone think? -

Count me in. I'd never heard of her before watching "Predestination" but her performance blew me away! Tremendous talent. Reminds me of Cate Blanchett.
It looks a bit sweaty in there so you may need to apply baby powder

Just saw it tonight and I agree with you, when John/Jane began to tell the story I thought I was in another movie. It was so human, so real. I started to cry for her/him I thought the film would be akin to Minority Report, happily it was so much more. I thought I had it figured out, but it slapped me so hard I spun around.
What was even more amazing was that where Time Travel stories are often confusing, this one was not. It was linear, it moved from point A to B to C without a lot fancy scientific terms and all that. Sarah Snooks put in an Oscar winning performance and that is a fact. -

Yeah great performance.
Reminded me of Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl for its score and range, but it was a more restrained, understated performance.
Never defend crap with 'It's just a movie'

Just watched the movie and I couldnt agree more. She is the star of the movie. I surprised myself thinking at the end of her story (the first part of the movie) that if the movie was to stop there, it would be fine. Her acting was just incredible, havent seen that in a long long time.

I agree with what you said about her (although I'm not a fan of Predestination). She was haunting and authentic in that role.
My question is what are her other best performances? need to watch her in other movies
