I was kind of hoping she'd be good, but she's getting really thrashed in the reviews. Apart from 'pretty', they're saying she's giving an 'insipid performance'. what do other people think?

Personally, I really liked her. It's difficult to play the clingy whiny crying love struck teenage girl a238nd get the critics approval but I thought she did well.

I haven't seen 'Endless Love' yet but I've seen her in 'Carrie' (2013) and I thought she did a fine job of portraying her character. She wasn't given too much to do but for what she was given, I thought she did a good job, especially towards the end. Not sure what people are complaining about.

She's very talented in Carrie. Beautiful too. Better than Amy Irving. Much better in fact.

I think she did fabulously for someone who doesn't have very much acting experience. She played a young, naive, sheltered teenager that fell in love with the first boy she was ever around, period. She played the part v5b4ery well. I haven't seen her in anything else, however, but for Endless Love I think she did just fine.
Made me look her up on IMDB to see what else she's been in, after all!
