Anyone know if she's returning to the show next season? IMDb doesn't show it, but they have waited till the season starts before showing the info for other shows before. I'd really hate for her character to end at the brothel, especially since she was a real pirate.

I dont know why there are not more comments about her work on Black Sails in these discussions.
She was barely memorable in Fast 6. I do admit that.
But wow! Her take on Anne Bonny is simply wonderful. I love the direction she has taken. The wardrobe and make up people really go all out to make her look all grubby and bad ass, when in reality she is model pretty.
She does her fighting scenes quite well. I love her short cutlasses. They are like sawed off shot guns. LOL. Her character is VERY quick and precise with them. I love when she deploys them to dispatch some unsuspecting ruffian.
IDK. I just wanted to say how much I appreciate what she adds to the show. I look forward to her scenes and relationship with the Jack Rackham character.
You all know both are based on real life pirates of the same names? Right?
Who knows what they were really like in real2000 life. It doesn't matter. Paget plays it believable. That is good enough for me. -

I've just started watching Season 2 of
Black Sails
on DVD (watched Season 1 last year when it came out here on DVD and was through it in no time. Was quite anxious for Season 2 to come out). Anyway, just watched episode 5 (haven't been watching the eps every night, as I want to make them last, since it'll be another year probably before seeing the next season) and I was surprised by an early scene in the episode with Anne. She seemed to 'soften', for lack of a better term, in her first scene when she was talking with Jack. What I mean by that is, usually she has quite a 'harsh' expression on her face and seems to grimace quite a bit (which fits for the character), but in this scene she seemed almost at ease/relaxed and I don't know how else to describe it. It was like she was a different person. However, later on, we got to see Anne Bonny at her most ticked off with Jack yet, when she realised he'd
chosen Max over her
. There hasn't been much of her kicking arse with her cutlasses action thus far this season, so I hope there's plenty to make up for it in the second half.
I do hope that Anne & Jack are eventually able to get back to being the awesome team we were introduced to in Season 1 once again. I miss their relationship. Clara Paget owns this role, and although she might be grubbied up for the part, I think her beauty still shines through. She's a believable kick-arse pirate, but I don't mind seeing her 'softer' (if one can call it that) side as well. Though whenever she is without her hat, I do find it a little odd. I guess since she had it on for most of Season 1, I'd grown accustomed to it being a part of her (almost like it was permanently attached to her head).

She was utterly awesome in the final episode of S3, i really hope they keep her
around until the very end. Every scene with her brings something, and considering
she's the only female cast who hasn't gone nude, that makes it even better.
(im sure she used a bodydouble in the 3some scene).
