It's only been a couple of days, but I already like this guy. He's funny, obviously, likeable and clearly connects well with the guests and correspondents. It remains to be seen whether he will generate the same righteous anger and passion that Jon Stewart demonstrated; I'm not sure whether a South African will necessarily feel as strongly about the state of US politics (still the main focus of the show) as Stewart, but whilst Stewart may have been a hard act to follow I think Noah is, for the most part, doing a very decent job.

I agree in that the writers are still good, but Trevor may just be "settling into" his role as anchor, but so far he's nervous and boring.
But as he said on day one, he wasn't the producers' first choice, he was more like choice #4.
Who knows, someday he might actually get some comedic confidence, but for now, he looks like a deer in the headlights reading his teleprompter blindly.
I'm still going to watch the show, I love satirical news, and the writing is still good, so hopefully Trevor will learn to relax somedayor someone could train him in rehearsals.
He's already got the job he just needs to relax and let loose. -

Oh, shut the fck up,troll. Why exactly the hell are you claiming he's a racist bigot? Of course, you throw that out there and don't provide any explanation for saying that, or even proof to back it up. Tired of idiots like you calling a black person racist merely they talk about race or racism at any time. It's something we have had to deal with as a regular part of our lives, whether we want to or not. It's not like we want to, we're usually made to because people are racist against us,period. He's become a better, more relatable host in the past year, and has become worth watching. -

I like him, specially the other day, when he was talking about how people only see one side because they choose a media that goes with their views , he was really spot on, that was the first thing I learned in the university, how you need to read newspaper from different sides, liberals and conservatives.
So when someone takes his time trying to teach this to the viewers, that speaks highly of him.
I don't think I was good at explaining this but I hope you get was I'm trying to say.
