Yes, Hogwarts celebrated Halloween with a large feast on October 31st each year, decorated with Halloween-themed decorations like candy-filled pumpkins and streamers, and often featured entertainment like the Hogwarts ghosts. These celebrations became significant plot points, with major events like the troll in the dungeons in Harry's first year and Sirius Black's attack on the Fat Lady's portrait happening during these feasts. -

maybe the question was more of a way to get some social interaction
because they lack friends and social skills
so that would make them thirsty and vulnerable
and you just told them, their salvation lies in the thing that could end up destroying them through addiction
fantastic work citizen.

I've got Harry Potter playing in the background as I've been preparing dinner. It's so sad to see Snape now that Alan Rickman has passed. It hits a lot harder.

Alan Rickman stole every movie he ever appeared in. I still remember watching
Die Hard
and despite being quite a Bruce Willis fan, I found myself far more interested in Hans Gruber. Caught me a wee bit off guard when he pulled that American accent, though. I was not prepared. Nicely done. I always found him to be not only exceptionally talented but also quite attractive. The only time I had a difficult time watching him in a movie was when he was in
Love, Actually
. That just broke my heart.

When I watched it, I really enjoyed it, but there were some really sad or disappointing moments that made it sad to watch. Much of the movie was quite good, but I've no desire to watch it again. There are some clever moments in it, especially with Hugh Grant, but if you don't want to see Rickman in a poor light, best to skip over that one.
