I was just watching her on "The Jonathan Ross Show" and I felt a bit sorry for her because she had a particularly 'horsey' laugh that Ross and the other guests couldn't help but react to. I don't even think they were being cruel because there was just no way one could ignore it.
However, to her credit she took the reaction to her laugh in good grace and came across as very sweet and charming. Her horsey laugh is a bit unnerving but I hope it isn't held against her because I'm sure there isn't much she can do about it. Further 5b4to her credit, she also said that she originally auditioned for one of the 'Ugly Sister' parts before the casting director suggested she should play the lead. -

Yes but then she accidentally said that she squashed a extras head in her new film resulting in him receiving medical treatment, which is fair enough but then she made a really low taste joke saying "It was ok cause he got 100 extra at the end of the day" very demeaning in my opinion, but perhaps she was trying to attempt a joke and it didn't come off.

It depends how serious the extra's injury was. Assuming it wasn't too serious an additional 100 for a day's work as an extra isn't too bad.
But I do think she was simply trying to make a joke out of an embarrassing situation.
