The issue is that a sitting President of the United States has killed a man overseas and disposed of his body for crimes which he didn't get the chance to be found guilty of, and another sitting President of the United States has taken a man, and his wife, from overseas soil to be tried for whatever crimes he has been arrested for within the United States judicial process.
One is just and protective of human rights, the other is murder on foreign soil and then disposal of a body deterring any further investigation into the matter.
The vote here is mere democracy at play -

Russia setting up missile sites in Cuba to point at the United States is not even remotely comparable to Meduro meeting with foreign powers, which is common diplomacy that every country engages in, including the United States who has met with and made many deals with each of those countries you've listed.

If you want to trust that it's harmless and that there's nothing questionable and potentially dangerous about it, that's fine, but it indicates that you're not thinking past the end of your nose.
You don't know what would or could happen with their presence expanding down there, so why assume it's innocent when Russia and China have clearly shown they're interested in world domination and Iran's motto is "Death to America."
