Huge chance? How so? It's not as if the X-Men film franchise consists of remarkable pieces of film work. The writing and acting have always been decent to sub par, and leaning more toward the latter. The films have random mutants thrown in just just to give a touch more credibility to the universe that inspires the films, but often they are more often nothing more than cameos, as the same mutants are followed over and over.
This film, like the ones before, will consist mostly of pretty CGI and coloured lighting effects. It's a popcorn flick for casual enjoyment. I doubt casting an unknown will discredit the film franchise as an art form or discredit the X-Men IP any further than the films that came before it. And even that assumes she has more than three lines. I wish this actor the best in an unforgiving industry. If anything, she's the one taking a huge chance to be part of a mediocre film franchise that could stifle her career. -

This the third Jubilee in the X-Men series?
Katrina Florece - http://www.imdb.com/board/20282646/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t30 in X-Men
and Kea Wong - http://www.imdb.com/board/20910958/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t16 in X-Men 2 and The Last Stand.
I'm assuming because of the announcement that the character is going to have a bigger part in the new film.
Let's hope it's bigger than Bishop's 'part' in Days Of Futures Past.
Anyway, congrats to the girl.
