I'm really curious to know how movie special effects create all those spider webs in old houses and caves. Anyone know?
Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!

Back in the 70s when I started in the film industry we used contact cement. The glue was dispursed in front of a fan that blew the strands out on the set. Because contact cement was highly flammable a new process was developed. It uses hot glue sticks. It's heated and blown into the set with compressed air.
