Could there ever be a female villain?

This is more of a psychological exercise of the sexes. I maintain as long as there's a hint of attraction (and it would be hard for there not to be at least towards Bond from the gal's perspective) a female Bond villain would never work.
Of course, if she were absolutely gay, it might work, but then it's a cop out and doesn't really count, now does it? -

Hmm, those are good examples. Neither are the main Villains tho, and one is certifiably nuts (Famke). Sophie is smitten with someone else, which is a powerful neutralizer attraction-wise for women. She was willing to do anything Carlyle told her to, so her pure evil villainy is questionable.
Hmm, it might be possible for a lead female villain, but I'm still not fully convinced. -

Oh, I would love to see a "
JAMES BOND
" Movie in which a woman was actually the Main Villain in it. I would even love it if she was played by a BIG Name Actress like Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, or Rachel Weisz.
I do know that a lot of people say that it was already done with Sophie Marceau in "
THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH
" but I don't consider her character to be the Main Villain in that Movie. I think the Main Villain in that Movie is really Robert Carlyle's character.
