Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — James Bond

Verily I say unto thee..has just been announced in the last day or so. I cannot say what it is (you can investigate that yourselves) and it is unlikely to reach our screens until very late in 2017 at the earliest. Suffice to say that given the directorial talent involved it will not put a foot (or a fist) wrong and will likely redefine action cinema for decades to come.

Verily I say unto thee..I think we can all agree that nothing Forster has ever made or ever will make will ever dwarf anything except perhaps a clipping from Tom Thumb's toenail.

Verily I say unto thee..yes, I believe that it does actually have the potential to dwarf the magnificent YOLT. When the director posted an online pic of the cover of the script for this vastly promising movie the following words were included:
"Our tale begins in Edwardian England in 1905four years after the Boxer rebellion".
Knowing the little I know so far of the plot of this film combined with my admiration of the director involved those words fill me with anticipation at the prospect of seeing the final product. I doubt we will see it before 2018 but the wait will be worth it not just for me but for all those who worship at the altar of action cinema.

Could it be the long awaited action film with Meryl Streep? SOPHIE'S CHOICE FISTS? I'd stand in line for that too!

Verily I say unto theesorry ringworm but I'm afraid that even the esteemed Meryl could not convince us that she would be capable of single-handedly defeating the forces manning an island fortress.
