I enjoyed the book too. I remember reading it not long after I had watched the movie. As always, the book was better.

I liked this movie a lot.
When I was working at the public library, we had our monthly meeting and the staff could share if they had any reading recommendations and I had just finished this book and recommended it. If I recall, isn't it written in diary form?

        Excellent recommendation.
The movie was based on what was written in this girl's diary, so yes, the book was written in diary form. After her death, her parents felt that it was important to publish her story in her own words.

It was really good. I especially liked it when Linda pounced on Allyn Ann McLerie for not giving her the shampoo! All hell broke loose!
