Black and white shows in color

If you want to know what one of those old black and white (b/w) shows, films, characters, etc. looks like in color, a nice trick is to: 1. Google, Yahoo, etc. 2. In the Search Box, Type: the name of the show 3. Type: color frame. 4. Click on images.
Many of the frames look authentic and not colorized.

I just tried that. Turns out Mr. Ed wasn't really a zebra after all.

LOL. You can even type in more words. I just typed in: Mr. Ed Wilbur Color Frames. Then I clicked on images. Lots of pictures, frames, etc. in color popped up.

Didn't work for the Dick Van Dyke Show, there are some shots of Laura's dress in color and the rest in B/W and the majority of pics from the show appear in B/W.

It works for the Dick Van Dyke Show on Yahoo. It's not even necessary to click images either.

Ohwell some do, some are from CBS specials , older and new. There're pics of also MTM Show and The New DVD Show with Hope Lange. Not criticizing you but just showing only some color pics are from original show. Just being picky, I guess. Sorry.

You're right, I looked that up and they did use Sepia tone for the film, The Sea Hawks (1940)

Yes, the point is that the color is real and that's how the show, film, people etc. looked like back then. In many cases, it doesn't look colorized.
I'm picky as well.
