I was going to mention it but ya beat me to it.

I love it so much that I got them all on disc.

Dallas. It was Must See TV every Friday night. We didn't go out until we had watched it and then, we all talked about it throughout the week.

JR was a guy you loved to hate.
The show also had one of the best and most famous cliffhangers ever.
That one summer in the early 80s, we all wore Tee Shirts that said, I Shot JR.

Is that your husband Miss Margo?
I never watched these series unless at a friends place and never paid much attention, or by the time my father bought a t.v. in the early 80's,
Falcon Crest
had just started airing. I wasn't interested in watching it or the others.
I do recall walking past the shops on my way to school and seeing the entertainment magazines hyping up the "Who shot JR?" thing. I feel like I'm missing out on something now.

I was more a movie fan and championed cinemas. Was never a big fan of many t.v. series or soaps. These were pop culture though and many had fun watching them. I would single out a couple and stick to them.

Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
