I was more a movie fan and championed cinemas. Was never a big fan of many t.v. series or soaps. These were pop culture though and many had fun watching them. I would single out a couple and stick to them.

If you get IMDb TV, the streaming channel, you can watch watch the whole series free. That channel has loads of good shows. You should check it out!

Thanks for the tip off.
TV series can take up a lot of time to watch. When I do watch the newer ones, I like to binge watch them over a few days. I may have to wait until retired, which will be some time off yet.
Dallas/Dynasty were such sensational t.v. events in many lives in that awesome era I live through as a kid.

I remember "Who Shot JR?" like it was yesterday! Fun times!
The Enquirer even took a poll.
Sue Ellen got the highest number of votes. She was probably the one who had the best reason to want to kill him.
Her slimy sister, Kristen, got the second highest number of votes. And she turned out ot be guilty.

I confess that I never thought of Kristen. Everyone had reason to want him dead, so there were so many to choose from!
It certainly was the subject for debate all that summer. I remember there being bar bets. The stakes were high.
It really drove all of us crazy when the new season started with him in the hospital, and they didn't reveal who shot him until about the third episode in!

Wasn't Mary portrayed as being strung out on valium?
I don't remember if that was an actual plot point, but Louise Lasser sure played her as if she were strung out on
something
. Maybe it wasn't acting. . . .
