Sidney Poitier and Richard Widmark in, '
      The Long Ships
'. Might be my fave adventure flick; not sure.

        Isn't that a British movie.

Might be a British production but the two lead actors are American so, I never gave it much thought.
Anyway it is certainly a ripping yarn.
Fact check: not gonna do one, just gonna guess. I'm fairly sure Widmark is American although he did star in some overseas parts. Poitier too –famously was 'Sir' in '
          To Sir with Love'
–but I'd be surprised if he too, wasn't American by birth.
Ah I know –at least we can say that these two stars are primarily known for American roles.

The two leads are Yanks. I just thought it was a British movie. I'm going to watch it before the weeks out. 🤟

Mighty strange choices; except perhaps 'Dirty Dozen' & 'Blues Bros'. All the rest are perplexing.
