So I was checking out a few minutes of the Ital. Job remake with the crappy actor Marky Dork Whalberg, who is one of the worst actors ever and I saw something I have seen in other heist movies where they are after a big score.
And that is how elaborate the plans are with tons of gadgets that they somehow just happen to find, know how to work and can afford.
Who pays for all that and how can they?
Another thing is that it is always complicated. They do not just open up a safe. It is usually more than that.
And all of it always goes perfectly to plan with no complications ever.
The guy or place they are stealing from is always somehow made to look worse than the thieves themselves to get us to end up rooting for the criminals and to justify their crimes.
They always get away with it at the end. Somehow they do things in broad daylight or public that does not arouse any suspicion from anyone to call the cops and even though there are many guys, and maybe girls, in on it not one of them gets caught and even if they happen to no one rats on anyone else.
So to sum up, heist movies are just that, movies and they are so bogus that no way could that job be pulled off IRL.

You really are the worst poster here.
Think about the caliber of the very worst we have here and let that sink in.

        He is always overthinking things.
There's a way to enjoy almost every movie, he just hasn't figured out how to do it.

          It's not even that.
How many heists are there in the world today? Why aren't there hundreds, or even thousands, if it doesn't require 1000 IQ ingenuity?
The man is a moron. His level of intellect is so low, I'm suprised he knows how to log in and post here.

            Google is your friend.
You could look into it to see how many burglaries and robberies there are world wide every day on average.
And you think I'm the moron here and you don't know how to look this up?
            Oh yeah.
            That's right.
I am dealing with someone who just makes up facts and when asked to back it up comes up with bullshit excuses not to because he knows he made it up!
            Rocks are smarter than you.
If I misunderstood what you are asking then it is not my fault that you made is as clear as mud.

              I do enjoy movies.
You just haven't seen posts I made where I have expressed that or have chosen to ignore them just to keep up your grudge against me.
I just prefer them to have a bit more realism then these heist ones where they are somehow able to afford to rent or buy a huge warehouse and somehow able to reconstruct the scene of their crime down to the last detail.
Were you not aware that these types of discussions would happen all the time on the old IMDb and are still going on to some extent today?

That is nothing but meaningless coming from a crackpot such as yourself who has yet to back up any of his claims with facts when asked for them.

If you want to see an excellent send up of how absurd heist movies can be, check out the Rick and Morty episode "One Crew over the Crewcoo's Morty". I just can't take the entire genre seriously after seeing that.
