norwegian documentary:
In 1987, South Korean Hyang Sook Kang gave birth to a son. After the divorce, it was decided that the father would have primary responsibility for the five-year-old son. Meanwhile, Kang goes to his hometown to try to get a job and a place to live. A few years later, she goes back to meet her son. But then the father and the boy's grandmother have long since given him up for adoption.

It was so heartbreaking when the norwegian couple told in norwegian that he would cry a lot when they first met him. He would cry at the airport, he would even try to run back to the plane and he continued to cry when they had taken him home until he was brought to a room with dinosaur toys. The norwegian mother explained that she thought it shouldn't be allowed to adopt older kids since it was so traumatizing for him. But he turned out so great. I feel very sorry for his real mother though who never wanted to give up on him. She was completely obsessed with him.
