I've been a subscriber to the New York Times crosswords since 2008. They throw in a cryptic about every two-three months. That's fine with me, because I don't like all the unchecked squares. They also have one called Puns and Anagrams at about the same frequency. It's a lot like a cryptic, but all the letters are common to two words as in the US format. I just finished one of those. Do you have both UK and US formats in NZ?
The NYT recently tried to get me to subscribe to their entire package. NO WAY! I unsubscribed from that gray spam.

Yes, we have both formats here. I'm not surprised that you're an avid solver too. 🙂

No, I "met" her just a few years ago, however when I was younger I was keen in solving those little "puzzles" even bought magazines only with crosswords

I only get one magazine these days, and it's for the cryptic crossword. I see you can do them online now, but I prefer the paper and ballpoint way of doing them. They stretch your brain in so many different directions!

Yeah! Hell, they were so much fun back in the days! You know, training your mind and all that
