The second film was terrible but I loved the first film, mainly for the very different portrayal of the vampires. I thought it was a fantastic horror film. I also know that not many people agree with me!

Yeah. Again I had the books before the movies, but somehow I had low expectations for the movie (only saw the first one) so I wasn't wailing about "THE SOOOUUURCE!"
I know it's annoying when the graphic novel readers whine about that. -

I don't find it annoying that they are liked. I tend to hope if it's well received that people would chase the source material to read. For me it's more a case of "of you liked this OMFG YOU WOULD LOVE THE ORIGINAL!"
My pick would have been Ewan McGregor. He'd have absolutely nailed it. -

I'm not a big fan, but I'll credit it with introducing me to A Perfect Circle. Its religious themes and questions seemed to resonate more with a friend I saw it with on a more recent viewing. The rest of the movie is pretty average.

I love that movie. Sure, it not as the same as comic books to many bitter fans, but the movie sure did have some fine cast and they all played their roles pretty well. My favorite part is the confrontation between Gabriel and Lucifer (LOVE that character. Wish it was longer.
).
Sure, the story is lacking a bit, but it's still an entertaining film. I hated it underperformed in box office because i watched the movie like 20 times.
And Tilda! She was great.
I hope a bear throw a book at you, moon at you, and do a tap dance wearing a thong and leather boots.
