Just seen it, it's better than the original imo - and the two new fairy men are gorgeous
Pfeiffer is awesome as the Queen, and Angelina knocks it out of the park as usual.
Deffo worth a watch!

The trailer made it seem like Michelle Pfeiffer stole Maleficient's daughter away and then cast Malficient underground forcing Malficient to take care of creatures that never gave a damn about her in the first place.
Was it really that way? No massive plot spoilers please. -

It was a pretty good film for kids. I watched it in 4D format. There were so many little details put into the 4D visuals! I sympathized with the Queen because those fairies were kind of getting on my nerves, too. I kept thinking what a nuisance they were. You couldn't even enjoy blowing the fuzz off a dandelion or eating a mushroom without it being an animated living thing. What if I just wanted to pluck mushrooms from the ground to cook in my meal? That's aggravating. I'd have to consider that those mushrooms are now fairies with rights to live?

This had the worst ****in' Trailer (whichever version played before Joker) I've seen in years.
No idea about the quality of the movie itself, but the way that trailer was pieced together made me want to punch a ****. -

I think the trailer focused more on displaying some of the most spectacular and dramatc scenes while providing some mystery. But you wouldn't have that insight unless you watched the entire film.

Not every major plot point. That's all I can say without spoiling the movie for those who haven't seen the entire film. Well, I never watched the first film so perhaps people that have seen the first film would notice what you just mentioned. I didn't though. I went into the film without knowing any of its history or any characters. I know about the fairy tale of The Sleeping Beauty but that was all.
