After many years of trying, Orville and Wilbur Wright succeed in making their heavier-than-air aircraft fly, south of Kitty Hawk, on December 17, 1903. They later try to sell their invention to the US government.

It was nominated for two Emmies (sound and cinematography) and won for the former.
Thoroughly entertaining, although I don't know how much of it is historically accurate.
I haven't seen it in decades. It never seems to play on tv (at least in my area) and it isn't on Youtube, although you may find it on a streaming location.
