        Ooh, I loved
        Clash of the Titans
        !
        Also
        She Creature
was very good. In and of itself not "about mythology" but involves the abduction and exploitation of a mermaid.
        The Lure
is another fantastic movie about mermaids.
Yes, yes, you'll notice I favour certain things…

          I watched
          She Creature
again a few months ago. It's still one of my all-time favorite mermaid/siren themed movies.

Gerard Butler looked badass with the sword that he carried in 300, lol. He held it like a true warrior.

                    Yaaaaas!
Of course it didn't hurt that Gerard Butler was looking mighty fine as Leonidas. Now that I think of it, most of the guys were looking hot in that film. meow

                              I'm quite familiar, actually!
I was really into Hugh Jackman and his transformation for Wolverine. He ran buck-nekkid from that water tank in all his glory not realizing a group of women were right around the corner!
It's not just their training program, diet and hydration (or lack thereof) are done (just like for body builders right before competition,..no water!) You have to deplete that last little bit of subcutaneous bodyfat to look shredded, but you cannot maintain that for long, so they do the cutting for the nekkid or topless scenes, do all those shots, then eat glorious food for the other shots. You can see the drawn look in the face.
Wow, I'm getting way too technical here for a lovely conversation about sexy men.

Ordinarily, I don't find Gerard attractive, but he was exceptionally appealing in 300.

Mmmhmm I would of done such bad bad things to him. I would climb that man like a tree.
I think that a lot of women would do crazy things to Gerard Butler and Rodrigo Santoro, lol. Some say that they both looked like Greek gods in that movie. Talk about art.

Troy is okay, but I'd rather just reread The Iliad.
