Not just myself –but many cronies– have always found it chilling. Stephen King is also a fan.
Mind now, it's not my very supreme favourite horror pick, but it is one which certainly took me aback upon first viewing.
There's some scenes which are simply appalling.
Reed: always a fan of Oliver Reed and I'm glad he kept his looks as he aged.
Nay, I didn't keep up with his last few films. His early career is much more fascinating.
Reed was a pillar of that rowdy, hard-drinking crew –Richard Harris, Richard Burton, Pete O'Toole –who always caused such mayhem in London.
When not brawling, Reed seems to have been a regular, very easy-going bloke. But what a bear of a man. Cor, you wouldna wanna ever have that git chuffed at ye.
