Anyone ever see one?
I had an experience back when I was in high school. I went to bed one night and, as I typically did back then, liked to pull the covers over my head for a short while. It just sorta relaxed me, I guess. When I pulled the covers down my eyes by this point had already gotten used to the darkness and I was able, very briefly, to see the dark silhouette of a man running across my bedroom and just like that, it was gone. I woke up the entire house in a panic and for about 6 months afterwards slept with the TV on sleep mode. It was something I'll never forget, that's for sure.
I'd like to hear if anyone else has been fortunate(?) enough to see one.

I've never seen anything close to that. But I always said if I do, I'll meet it head on. If anything appeared in my room at night, I'd turn the light on fast (it's right by my bed) and grab whatever is handy and hit it as hard as could. Or if anything like a grey alien ever came up to me at night while I was outside, I'd beat it to death. I always have a Mag-lite or an insect net with me, so I'll always have something handy to use as a weapon. Even when I'm just riding a bike I have a big metal rod attached to the handle bars to hit people with if I need to, and a can of pepper spray in my pocket. I've also decided that I will do the same to the next person who comes up to me and picks a fight or accuses me of being a child molester. If the person happens to be a woman, I'll hit her even harder than I would anyone else. No matter who or what it is (person, animal, unidentified entity of any variety), If it's threatening me or physically attacking me I will protect myself and beat it until it is no longer moving. If it's a guy, once it's on the ground I'll stomp repeatedly on its genital area and try to castrate it.

Pretty dull 5/10 Actually saw it twice but didn't realise I had seen it before until the end, it's one of those movies you forget you even saw.

I've had that sleep paralysis thing happen where you're half awake but still dreaming and can't move or speak. There was a shadow person standing in the corner of my room and I couldn't scream. Of course, I eventually woke up properly and there was nobody there but that s*hit really freaked me out.

Sounds like you had an even rarer experience than the one I had. In my reading, they're usually running away from you once they realize they've been spotted (something I only learned of recently, and my experience happened over 17 years ago). I can imagine how terrifying yours was. I was freaked the F out.
