There's a good body of films that were inspired by Hammer, or somehow associated, and stylistically are so similar that people get confused.
Another one is Blood of the Vampire, UK produced at about the same time as Horror of Dracula.
The Eyes of the City are Mine!
    Mother Pressman / Anguish (1987)

Horror Express is one of my favorite horror films, good stuff. Father Pujardov is funny.
Here are some of my favorite Hammer films:
      Horror of Dracula
      The Devil Rides Out
      Plague of the Zombies
      Vampire Circus
      Quatermass and the Pit
      The Gorgon
      The Abominable Snowman
      The Quatermass Xperiment

the mound of the hound of the baskervilles
I like the model train in
          horror express (1972)
. It was left over from period epic
          nicholas and alexander (1971)
, a competent historical biopic from the director of
          planet of the apes (1968)
          .

Horror Express is a trip, nice to see Cushing and Lee on the same side for once and a bizarre third act appearance from Telly Savalas.
              Best Hammer? Brides of Dracula

I've been a fan of Hammer horror films for over 45 years now.

Very nice - thanks for the share.
Not sure why I've never looked into these films, although I'm not a huge vampire/Franky/werewolf fan, so
But there are plenty of alternatives available.

Twins of Evil and Vampire Circus have been my favorites so far, but I haven't seen a lot of them.
