"I don't exactly hate Dog Soldiers but I do think Ginger Snaps is a better film on several levels
    7.5
    /10"
"Ginger Snaps is a very clever and well-acted/written film that does something unique with the werewolf sub-genre
    8.5
    /10"
There's a chasm between your comments and ratings for both films.
They bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I say, let 'em crash.

Both are great, but I prefer Ginger Snaps

Hard choice as both are among my favorite h-movies, but I have to give DS the award as it's not only a fantastic werewolf-movie, but a splendid action/thriller as well.

Ginger Snaps by far, and then the sequel is a little better than that.

Do you agree that Dog Soldiers was good but not great for the reasons I mentioned?

Both are good. But I'd have to say Ginger Snaps by a hair. Or a nose, if you'd prefer.

Oooooooh! I think 14 year old angry teen Kelly would say Ginger Snaps. It is one of my favourite films, but Dog Soldiers still holds up now. It's so funny as well as crazy violent.
