I don't believe in lumping LG BT together. They're not the same. Lesbian films are very different from gay films, which are very different from trans films. And just because one has an interest in a particular group within that acronym, doesn't mean that they will be at all interested in the others.
For example, I have a vested interest in lesbian film, but have little to no interest in the others (except maybe buys, because they're essentially straight people who are a little more flexible).
Anyhow, to answer your question, I think there are two best lesbian films. They are:
1.SERVING IN SILENCE (1995 film starring Glenn close and Judy Davis)
2.ROOM IN ROME (2010 film)
Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize! -

Sometimes lumping them together is warranted, sometimes it isn't. A movie or series that incorporates multiple aspects of LGBTQIA fits better under that umbrella than a movie about lesbians who have no interest in the other letters in that acronym.
Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
