Okay, but it will never get to that. That would have to be part of
an extreme totalitarian military state,
which would make the old USSR
look like a nursery school.
And remember, Abortion and Contraception are both still
completely legal
in this country. So I'm not sure what the
"pink pussy hat"
women are complaining about.

When I watched it, I was thinking the same thing: It's just like Cube, but the people keep resetting. The only thing I can imagine is that it's a way to study how humans learn and process difficulties.
The tree really messed with me.
When she ran across the guy, I thought things were going to change in direction.
That final scene that pans out where you realize it's all these experiences happening was also a lot likeβ¦was it Cube3 maybe? The ending scene of the wall of cubes?

Exit Strategy
An
excellent
film. If you like films about time loops, check out
Resolution
(2012) and then
The Endless
(2017). They're both excellent films by the brilliant Indie producers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
Note: It's best to watch them in chronological order because the first film is interwoven into the second one. It's kind of difficult to explain. You just have to watch the two films.
PS Who is "Sam"??

Yeah, sorry about that. I should have mentioned which episode. It's "The Trial', where the crippled soldier gets a new body, and thenβ¦β¦.?

Ahh, okay. So in that one, robots were considered dangerous, evil, corrupt, and risky. The very fact that this man had served his country and protected others, and in the line of duty had half his body blown offβ¦.yet he's reviled by others, hated, feared, discriminated against because he's become that which no one wants any part of.
It was just a family moment at the ending scene of acceptance.
At least that's what I got from it.
