robert osbourne showed the restored 1929 version by accident. i was a little bit disappointed that the movie no sound effects. it was very shocked about all of the new footage in the mvoie nd the new beeginning. it ran slower then my 1990 crappy goodtimes home video vhs copy.
THE BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!:
the movie was missing it's happy ending. i remember in 2000, tcm aired a differen version of the phantom of the opera. it had sound effects and after erk drowned, at the end christine got married.
what the hell it going on! i hope the dvd versions wll include the version i'm talking about.
