The Shrimp!!!??? Actually no. But I googled her. She was iconic to the British mod style in the 1960's.
If one was to pit mod against hippy, I'd go with Mod!
Here's a good article with a fashion review of her career:
Jean Shrimpton, otherwise known as The Shrimp, was one of the world's first supermodels. Born in England in 1942, Shrimpton began modeling at the age of 17 and almost immediately landed some of the most coveted covers in the industry. Her breathtaking looks, gamine style, and tumultuous artist-muse relationship garnered unparalleled public fascination. Shrimpton embodied the youth of 1960's London, helping define the mod style of the era with her waifish beauty and penchant for mini skirts. On the ultimate It girl's 77th birthday, CR documents her captivating rise to fame.

Oh, I get it now. The mod style is the clothes they wear in A Clockwork Orange.
      Davenport's preferences are outstanding.

I don't remember her because I was a child in the 60's but I remember hearing about her growing up. I think she was prettier than Twiggy.
              Nice colours btw!

Was Twiggy really considered pretty? I figured she was famous because of her slim figure.

She had that kind of elfin face but yes I think it was her boyish figure that got her noticed.
I wonder if she regrets being a kind of poster girl for being skinny?

The Vidal Sassoon cut really made her stand out too.

I knew of her the same way as Twiggy, one of those fashion models that brought trends forward. She was just so incredibly slender, the waif like model. Even today, the practice continues, with using size zero models. We've gotten a bit better however, but fashion does favour the super slender very young girls.
