I agree with Gene Simmons. Wtf do hip hop rappers wanna be party of the rock n roll of fame because rappers are all about desperation for fame. Hip hop needs to create it's own Hall of Fame.

I don't see how his opinion could be controversial. There should be a Rap and Hip-hop Hall of Fame that can induct them. It can be a small annex to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame if they really want to be associated with it.
