It should be a popular song that everyone knows.
"Boulevard of Broken Dreams" is a good one.
American Idiot is probably their most popular song overall, but it's already the name of the rock opera, and it's not a good name for a biopic.
"Good Riddance (Time of your Life)" is too verbose and mundane.
A good biopic title imo should have a strong adjective and noun in it. And the title of the song should also, at least metaphorically, have meaning for the plot of the movie: thus "She's a Rebel/21 Guns/Wake me Up When September Ends" wouldn't work.
"Nice Guys Finish Last" is appropriate, but it's too cliche and popular of a phrase.
Basket Case could work.
