Sloop John B - Especially the a cappella section; some of their best harmony, I think.
Help Me Rhonda - A good, driving beat.
Good Vibrations - More great a cappella harmony; as I understand it, the song took FOREVER to record because of its technical complexity.

This might sound sacrilegious, but I just never got The Beach Boys. I know Brian Wilson is credited with experimenting with different things in music, just like The Beatles who I love. It's just that I've always found their vocal harmonies really annoying. Is anybody with me? I will say I appreciate some of the songwriting. I saw the Meat Puppets (my favorite of existing bands) in concert a few years ago, and they did an amazing cover of "Sloop John B."

When I was a little kid Sloop John B was my favorite.
