Kate Bush is no doubt a highly talented musical artist.
Would you consider her a genius in the music world?

Not sure if genius is a word I would use, but she's certainly the closest there is out there for a female artists. PJ Harvey and maybe Bjork close behind.

What a dreadful musical world where PJ Harvey and Bjork represent the pinnacle of female musical talent. I'm glad I don't live there.
What are words for when no one listens anymore

Better than Oingo Boingo, lesser than Peter Gabriel, about equal to (let's call it slightly better than) Nick Cave. Draw your own conclusions.

              I'd say so.
She has a particular, seemingly effortless talent for placing eccentric, interesting ideas within a context that has (reasonably) wide appeal. She's simultaneously a proper pop star and a person who follows her own decidedly idiosyncratic muse. She manages to do this without obvious compromise. Within that balance lies her 'genius'.

There is no noun that cannot be verbed.

I would say that if there is such a thing, she definitely, definitely is one of a precious few who deserves that mantle.
She would probably be the last to say so.
GOOD SKY YOU'VE GOT HERE McCINTYRE..WELL DONE!!!

Depends on how you define musical genius. I wouldnt argue against her being called one.

No, because only men can be musical geniuses. Everyone knows this.
