They sould make a remake of The Most Dangerous Game with Herner Werzog directing. I think that a remake would be amazing, if done right.

It has been remade many times.
Some of these are not straight-forward remakes, but adaptations and 'inspired by"s, but a quick look at the screenwriter's credits lists no fewer than seven ( http://imdb.com/board/20175028/ ). It was even remade twice by its original studio, RKO, twice before 1960. Would you not think a remake of it would be amazing if done wrong? -

that's the best idea for a remake i've heard in a long time. there have been so many pointless remakes of films in the last years; why not give this one a shot. while i was watching the film i thought it could be great success nowadays. before looking it up on the imdb, i didn't know that there have been plenty remakes since, but The Most Dangerous Game cries for really good one. werner herzog certainly could convey the grim feeling, and he knows how to give nature more than a supporting role (Fitzcarraldo, Aguirre, der Zorn Gottes).

Have you seen
Run for the Sun
? That's very good, although it's not a straight remake: hunting a man is more a bonus for the bad guys than the main reason for wanting our heroes dead.

Not exactly a remake, but I recommend "The Beast Must Die!". Calvin Lockhart plays a wealthy hunter who invites a group of yuppies to spend a week at his Scottish estate, dangling a large sum of money as bait. The reason: Lockhart believes that one or more of the guests is a werewolf (all of the guests were present at various resorts around the world when savage murders were commited during a full moon), and he considers lycanthropes "the most dangerous game". The trouble is: werewolves-like vampires-can recruit new beasts merely by biting them. At times hokey (a submachine gun that fires silver-bulleted ammunition), but still entertaining.

I've seen that, and it's really more of a version of
Ten Little Indians
. But it was a fun movie.

I agree as soon as I finished reading this for school I thought that if this was done right it would be an amazing movie. Their making so many horrible remakes nowdays of movies that don't deserve to be revived its time they made one worth watching.

Ever see the episode "The Hunter" from Gilligan's Island? Rory Calhoun played the the villain going after Gilligan. Laugh if you want, but it's a direct take off of Most Dangerous Game.
If we all liked the same movie, there'd only be one movie! -
