Isn't that Billy Bevan who plays a cop?
At one point, when Dudley Digges as the Inspector is explaining how to capture Griffin, a mustachioed bobby asks, "Why not paint the top of the wall?" Inspector Digges explains why, to which the bobby says, "OhI seepretty good."
Then, later on, when he THINKS it is Griffin on the wall, the copy sprays the paintbut it is a cat.
O.K. All THAT being saidIS it Billy Bevan? And if so, why isn't he credited (even in the 'uncredited' spot on imdb? -

The cop with the spray paint was not Billy Bevan.
Unfortunately, I don't know who the spray painting cop actor was.
I tried to find out who he is, but haven't had any luck so far.
This cop actor is one of the few actors I haven't been able to identify.
But he is definately not Billy Bevan.
