i thought that libertarians also wanted to reduce the size of the american military industrial complex, start printing money instead of borrowing it from federal reserve bankers and do away with various government agencies

Older ones like Ron were for a drastic reduction in military spending with a focus on
descretionary waste
. Definitely want to divorce our money from a banking cartels like the fed. And yes… huge reduction of government services. That's one that sure… we'd all like to see…but seems impractical given where we are and how we got there.
Also…seems older libertarians were open to concepts like flat tax rates which I've always embraced…now they're just a bunch morons that want to pay no taxes.
Guess it's hard to find a spot I comfortably fit into -

i think comfort is how we got into this mess.
it might be good to jump out of the pot before it starts to boil.
what actually brought down communism is that too many people used a parallel system/black market instead of the bloated government system.
the organism needs to be isolated and its food supply cut off. -

Kids can go into any section of the library and check out any book. It's not like the back room in a video store. Librarians don't stop kids from checking out books based on what section they're in. In fact, they're firmly against it.

So back to the original question. What purpose does this book serve? Why would an adult want to read about sex with minors? -

I was a voracious reader as a kid and I loved that librarians didn't restrict what I could borrow and take home. I read tons and tons of novels and short stories awash with sexual and violent content in my teens, books my conservative parents would never have allowed me to touch had they ever known what I was signing out. (The one parent who actually read books, my mother, kept strictly to trashy romance novels, so neither one of them was intellectually competent to judge my reading in the first place.)
I turned out just fine. In fact, my level of sophistication in understanding humanity was light years beyond what my parents had at the same age, all because I exposed myself to complicated, messy ideas in works intended for adults. This was a good thing.
And by the way, let's drop any pretense that these images and books don't live rent free in your head and turn you on at some level. You've been posting this crap on at least two different forums now over a span of months if not years. You've saved these images to reuse when the urges get too strong, and I have no doubt you pore over them feverishly on a routine basis. -
