Wow, tough ask.
I couldn't prioritise them, but I might say- Casablanca
- Godfather/Godfather II
- Gone With The Wind
- Lord of the Rings
- Seven Samurai
- The General (Buster Keaton)
- 2001: A Space Odyssey
oh, was I supposed to stop?! (If I'd kept going, I would have probably added Ben Hur and Wizard of OZ and hmmm, left the 10th spot free for What Is Yet To Come, I think.)
Yeah, I've taken liberties, but in my defence I consider the first two Godfather movies as twin spawns of the one genius, and LotR as effectively one very looooong movie spun from the one sustained fever dream. It wouldn't be fair to split them up.
You
might
very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.

harrymovie
that's probably the only list in the whole bunch that i give any respect to.
as far as some of the semi-respectable lists, you need to see a LOT more movies.
so, what's my fave 5, you might ask?. man, it's sure easier to rip on other peoples choices than to put out your own. it's hard to even remember all the movies one has seen. but off the top of my head something like this, in no order:- Nowhere In Africa
- Solaris (Solyaris the 1972 original)
- Oldboy
- Ran
- Office Space
- Spirited Away
- The Lord of the Rings Trilogy
- The Godfather Trilogy
- All About My Mother
- Pulp Fiction
- Bridge on The River Kwai
- The Decalogue
- Deliver Us From Evil
- Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring
- A Clockwork Orange
- Cool Hand Luke
- The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
- Memento
- Irreversible
- Alien
damn, that's 20. and i'm sure i could do 50 without much more thought.
