I think she's very pretty and the best part of the movie.

I like her voice, but it's true she has a radio inflection.

She had a nice bod, but lousy hair.

She may have had the current cut of the times and the Betty Bryant character in Steve Ditko's Spider-Man comic book is the spitting image of this Betty.
In the new Spider-Man features, as I recall, the Betty character also sports a similar cut.

Betty Page was also popular at about that time, fantastic brunette.

                      Good point. The
                      Betty Page
bangs were most certainly in vogue. I don't know how "main-stream" Miss Page might have been in her day or how much of an influence in fashion she may have had back then. We know her famous hair-do now, but she may have been riding the crest of the mode and not the creator. And didn't
                      Betty Page
wear it like that (with bangs) because she did not like her forehead?
                      Maybe the popularity came from
                      Betty Cooper
                      and
                      Veronica Lodge
                      !

I know for a fack it was modelled on Tom Courtenay's mother's chin hairs.
Let it be unsaid: insignificance is the locus of true increpation.

                          Who can argue with that?
