It was stated in the IMDB Trivia Section that they were Danish pastries.of which Audrey Hepburn had a strong dislike.

That made me laugh because it seems like I read a lot of behind the scenes info about actors who dislike the food they have to eat on camera. I wonder if the pastry was too sweet for her.
Mag, Darling, you're being a bore.

I can't remember if what she was eating had jelly in it or not, but that doesn't necessarily NOT make it a long johnI don't think.
I took your advice and looked it up. Wikipedia states: unfilled bar doughnuts are called Long Johns and their filled counterparts are called clairs.

There is a book about how they made this film that says it was coffee and a Danish. Audrey didn't like Danishes, just ate it for the picture. Holly would have gotten it, I always imagined, from a 24-hour diner or cafe, or more likely an early morning sidewalk vendor. As far as the real-life brand, who knows?

I could swear I've seen a photo where you can see that the bag she takes the Danish out of is from Schraftt's.

I just saw this film tonight, and I always assumed Tiffany's must have a cafe or something inside inI never knew the title referred to standing outside the window LOL
