To save Earth from a possible alien invasion, scientists alter a human into a replica of one of the aliens. If this sounds familiar, it's because it's the same basic plot as
The Architects of Fear,
S1 E3, 9-30-63. Obviously by the end of the first season, they were running out of ideas.
However, the episode is not bad. The "bears"
(aliens)
are passable, and it's elevated by the acting of Robert Duval. The same could be said of Robert Culp in
The Architects of Fear.
One of the SPX was poor though. There was an alien weapon which emitted steam, looking like a power washer.
Only one more episode in season one. Then it's on to season two.
Rating: Three Zantis

Good episode (afaIcr), but I HAVEN'T watched it yet (on my re-watching of the series) and am a LONG WAY from getting to it.
