The inhabitants of a typical suburban street find that they've been abducted
(by tele transportation)
by a diseased alien race, which wants to discover if humans will make suitable slaves for them. If any of the humans is touched by one of the aliens, he/she will become infected with their terrible disease. It has some very good atmospheric elements, and a really cool fog, and the "bear" is not bad. The ending is both moving and memorable.
