The inhabitants of Annex One
(a research station on another planet),
a handful of scientists, are held in fear by Reese Fowler
(Warren Oates),
mutated by a deadly silver rain into a mind reading, body-disintegrating curmudgeon with really big eye balls.
Dr. Evan Marshall, just arrived from Earth, may be their only hope.
This is a good episode, but would have been better if they had not revealed Reece's mutation in the teaser at the beginning. There could have been a big buildup to the reveal. Of course I understand they want to
"hook"
you at the beginning so that you'll watch the rest of the show.
And what was with the calf length skirt, bracelet, earrings, and high heels on Julie Griffith, the only female character? Not standard kit for colonizing a new world. And this is the second episode in a row with this flaw.
Oates is excellent, as always, but the others were just passable. And it was nice to see one of our old Zanti friends guest star in the third act.
Rating: Two Zantis.
